Darby Bailey

Darby Bailey is an American voice over artist and a working actress, musician, writer and visual artist. She is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, and spent many years in Santa Cruz, California before deciding to divide her time between her hometown and Los Angeles.

Darby’s voice is heard by millions of people every day. The Silicon Valley company, Tellme Networks, Inc. modeled Darbot, their speech recognition system, on her voice. She has voiced many Fortune 500 companies, including Bing411, AT&T, American Express, UPS, Orbitz and Verizon.

A musician and writer of stories from an early age, she graduated from BA from Antioch University Los Angeles, with an emphasis in Creative Writing.

As a singer-songwriter and writer/producer of music and visual content for the screen, Darby’s work often deals with the chaos surrounding normal, day-to-day life. Her work often includes dark humor, overlapping dialogue, eccentric characters and childlike sensibilities.
