This leisure pursuit is what mankind knows as the “MUSIC industry”, examples of talented women who use this strategy to form lyrics for popular Pop music today; are none other than individuals such as singer/songwriter, dancer, Julie Ciero.
Pop sensation Julie Ciero knows a thing or two on how make people want to jump out of their seat and take it to the dance floor. Her vibrant songs showcase her optimistic personality and pizzazz! Julie was born in Staten Island, New York to Jamaican parents of West Indian origin. Being born into such a rich and varied culture, she acquires the ability to be multi-faceted in the music industry; by offering a wide variety of musical selections within her individual musical empire. Her fun and upbeat personality transcends thorough her music and is contagious to anyone who is listening to her music.
Julie is more than attractive; she is clever, strong witted and most importantly determined to show the world that she has “crossover lyrics and slick melodies that are as good as any male counterpart in the music game.” The multitalented vocalist has been in love with the entertainment sector her whole life; forging ahead in the Miami market, growing and nurturing personal relationships with top DJ’s, music industry insiders and socialites. Julie’s music has been played in some of South Florida’s top nightclubs.
As a UPlaya artist, she has achieved great success. She received the coveted Gold, Silver and recently Platinum Auddy award for her music. However, her achievements don’t stop here! She was also chosen to be the opening act for the Heat playoffs in 2009. As she starts in her career, she draws inspiration from some of her favorites, including Britney Spears, Janet Jackson and Jennifer Lopez. Not only does she learn from these artists, but also she makes it her mission to study both there handwork, dedication and endless work ethic within the entertainment industry. With both admiration and fortitude that songstress Julie displays, it’s safe to say this song bird is destined for nothing short of long term success.
Julie Ciero’s soon to be released debut album will mark as the new threat to the music scene. The blunt singer plans to do nothing more than “tell it like it is” and breath fresh air back into not only the female music scene but the music industry as a whole.
