The music of Bing & The Bingtones has a universal and timeless sound. With the look and personality of an old school crooner, Bing & The Bingtones resemble bands from the past like Chicago, Blood, Sweat & Tears and Boz Scaggs. The music of Bing & The Bingtones has a universal and timeless sound. With the look and personality of an old school crooner, Bing & The Bingtones resemble bands from the past like Chicago, Blood, Sweat & Tears and Boz Scaggs. Bing likes to refer to it as "˜Rhythmic Nighttime music with a soul.’ The band has a big, brassy sound. In addition to Collora as lead singer, keyboard and acoustic guitar player, the band is comprised of a 3 piece horn section, guitar, bass, piano, percussion, drums and back-up vocals. The sound isn’t the only unique aspect of The Bingtones, the whole make-up of the band, and the way it was assembled, is an interesting story.

Through an acquaintance Bing met drummer Jerry Pellizzer. Bing was searching for a partner and Jerry was looking for an opportunity. After listening to Bing’s demo Jerry was sold on the idea of working with Bing. Before he knew it, Bing had a drummer, partner and a co-producer. From that point on the band began to fill in around them. The horn section reads like a "who’s who" among session players and the rest of the band has the experience necessary to round out the big sound.
