Reconize

Joseph Christopher Rodriguez [Born February 27th, 1990], who records under the name "Reconize", is a Puerto Rican recording artist.

Originally born in Puerto Rico and now residing in Florida, music became a big interest after meeting fellow artist Genetics [German Vite]. Genetics introduced Reconize to his style of music, New York Hip Hop. Since then the two and their music became inseperable. Throughout the years Reconize and Genetics began recording a series of songs in various genres; from hardcore Hip Hop to Pop and Reggaeton, they tried it all.
-———————————————————————————Although music became a great interest in Reconize’s life, he was just in High School and he had a greater passion for Basketball. From 2004-2007, Reconize focused more on his love for B-Ball and still did his music on the side. After Graduating, Reconize continued writing and recording music, knowing one day someone big will hear his words and belive in his music. During that time, Reconize became a part of a local group known as Da Prodigyz, which included fellow artists Genetics and Ghislaine. As a Prodigy, people began noticing Reconize and the group, especially Engineers/Producers Stephen Underwood [Steve Woodz] and Joseph Lopez [Psycho Joe]. With the help of the two Engineers/Producers, the group was able to get spots to perform and show off their talents at local Venues and other promotional events.
-———————————————————————————In 2009, while the group was working on their album "Timezone", news was given that the female of the group, Gizeh [Ghislaine Rueda], will be parting to another state to pursure her Faith, and will continue with music in TX. Shortly after she parted, Reconize and Genetics continued writing music, attending events/performances and recording hits. In early 2010, a third member to the group was added, Rapper/Singer, Nathaniel Feliciano [N8]. Together the trio became unstoppable, creating hits that had people moving.
-———————————————————————————Aside from the group, Reconize decided to work on his own project [The Evolution], to show the world his talent. "The Evolution", with hits singles such as "Lets Dance FT. Genetics" and "All In FT. A-Tre[A local artist] ", will feature different varieties/genres of music. "The Evolution", featuring many local artists, is still an ongoing project simply because the talent Reconize holds within is now starting to unleash; causing him to create hit singles better than what he had before. "The Evolution" is set to release this upcoming winter. Although members from the group decided to part their own ways, Reconize is still going as a solo artist and making more moves than he ever was. Still keeping connections with his former group members, Reconize continues to collaborate with them.

Because of the right connections, Reconize’s music is being played in venues from Fort Myers all the way to Orlando, FL and NYC. Reconize will contiue finishing up his project, and wont stop there. With faith and hard work, Reconize wont stop for nothing until he at the TOP!
